"Sorry, can't upload file with embedded scripts" error message when uploading a PDF

When uploading a PDF, the PDF file may contain some hidden scripts. Our system does not allow this and you will be prompted with the following error: "Sorry, can't upload file with embedded scripts. Please contact us if you feel this an error."

Please resubmit the file without any embedded scripts.

In order to remove any embedded scripts, you can "re-print" the PDF file as another PDF - which will remove any embedded scripts.

Removing embedded scripts from PDF on Windows

1. Open the file in your normal PDF program.
2. Go to "File > Print".
3. In the print dialog select "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer.
   
4. Save the file.
5. Upload the new file.

Removing embedded scripts from PDF on Mac

Please follow the instructions here to "print" the file as PDF, and resubmit the new file.
